For a third consecutive time, the eminent magazine Financial Times declared the municipality of Lakta\u0161i the most desirable small town for investment in Europe. This motivates us to continue in that direction and many investors coming to the Republic of Srpska certainly see Lakta\u0161i as an unavoidable destination \u2013 said Miroslav Boji\u0107, the Mayor of Lakta\u0161i.<\/p>\n
Boji\u0107 noted that this recognition was an exceptional honour and an obligation for Lakta\u0161i to continue in that direction. He emphasized the continuous work to improve the business environment and introduce internationally recognized standards of efficient and transparent local administration. According to him, this is supported by significant investments of both domestic and foreign companies in the territory of the city.<\/p>\n
He says that Lakta\u0161i offer investors many advantages when investing and obtaining all the necessary permits and documents, which facilitates investing and starting a successful business. The presence of large international and regional companies in the territory of this city indicates the city\u2019s attractiveness as an investment destination, states Boji\u0107.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Lakta\u0161i not only attract foreign investors, but domestic investors also expand their capacities because we have a quality infrastructure, a favourable land price and a qualified workforce that will grow further upon opening of the secondary school training centre currently under construction \u2013 Boji\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
He expressed the hope that this secondary school centre would be the most modern in the entire BiH and that all students would be provided with secure employment after completing their education. He stated that the focus was on CNC operators, toolmakers and locksmiths who would lead to metal industry development.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Roof has been placed on the secondary school centre and we hope that the works will be completed by June next year. Finally, we need to equip this 4,000 square meter facility, of which 1,500 square meters are intended for practical classes - says Boji\u0107.<\/p>\n
He stated that the first generation of students would enrol in September 2025.<\/p>\n
