The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vojin Mitrovi\u0107, said that the Republic of Srpska had exceptional investment potential, and that some local self-government units were on a level with very successful investment locations in the region, due to the existence of both business infrastructure and very professional local administration.<\/p>\n
Mitrovi\u0107 noted that the government of the Republic of Srpska had also adopted new regulations to encourage the investors employing more staff, introducing new technologies and creating quality jobs.<\/p>\n
He believes it necessary to talk about the potentials of the Republic of Srpska as much as possible, to present investment advantages and opportunities, and Take the Chance, Invest in Srpska invest forum, opening today in Banja Luka, to be the opportunity to present all potentials in one place.<\/p>\n
\u2018The program was conceived specifically to show the investing advantages and concrete opportunities both in terms of projects and locations. It is also an opportunity for business partners to exchange information, and we are available to provide additional information to all those interested, about specific investment locations, projects, and generally about the conditions for doing business\u2019, said Mitrovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
He noted that Srpska\u2019s investment potential had been recognized by eminent international houses, such as the Financial Times recognizing Srpska as one of the 2023\/2024 small regions of the future for foreign investment.<\/p>\n
\u2018This potential is based on the fact that we have an excellent geographical position due to our location at the very border with the EU, we are very competitive in terms of costs due to the tax policy being among the most favorable in the region, we work continuously to reduce non-tax burden, and we have increased significantly the level of incentive measures for introduction of new technologies, and we offer a market of more than 600 million inhabitants on the basis of free trade\u2019, said Mitrovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
