The Treasury of Hilandar monastery preserves cultural riches of inestimable value, manuscripts and printed books, charters of rulers, various archival documents and works of art. The Library of Hilandar Monastery houses a collection of Cyrillic manuscripts from the 12th to the 19th century with about 1,000 items, a collection of Greek manuscripts with over 150 codices and filades from the 11th to the 19th century, and a collection of old Serbian printed books from the 15th to the 17th century.
