The biographical drama about Saint Nectarios of Aegina will be screened in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg and Great Britain from 3 September through the distributor Helse Kulturverein.<\/p>\n<p>The film that leaves no one indifferent is a story of charity, faith, true kindness and hope. In 109 minutes, cinematic language depicts one of the greatest Greek saints, Nectarios of Aegina, whose life was marked by great injustices, persecutions and accusations by the then leaders of the Greek Orthodox Church and the Patriarchate of Alexandria.<\/p>\n<p>He was a priest of the common people, his humility irritated the subordinate circle of the clergy. He was slandered, excommunicated and exiled.
