The days of Serbian culture in Crete continue.<\/p>\n
The Days of Serbian Culture in Crete, organized by the Serbian Association in Crete, are in full swing.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, 16 August, the Days of Serbian Culture in Crete began in Heraklion in the presence of many officials from the local municipality and the outskirts of Crete, as well as the honorary consul of the Republic of Serbia in Crete, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs \u2013 Office for the Diaspora.<\/p>\n
The event was opened by Danijela Veselinovi\u0107 \u2013 the winner of Gu\u010da festival, with beautiful tones from her trumpet, followed by the folk dance ensemble of the Sava Jeremi\u0107 cultural and artistic society from Ra\u017eanj, which enchanted all the present with a mix of dances from various parts of Serbia and its rich folk costumes.<\/p>\n
The visitors tasted delicacies from Serbia. Those included kaymak, ajvar, ljutenica, proja, gibanica, etc.<\/p>\n
Vlada Barali\u0107, maestro on the frula, also offered a great performance, the sounds of which made the audience rise to their feet and join in a kolo dance that did not stop until the end of the program.<\/p>\n
A similar scene occurred also in other cities where the event is held \u2013 the visitors having a good time with Serbian dance, song, food and naturally \u2013 Serbian kolo.<\/p>\n
