With a two-day visit to Vienna starting today, the Republic of Srpska Investment Development Bank will continue its activities of intensive promotion of investment profiles of the municipalities, cities and overall Republic of Srpska.<\/p>\n
Today and on Wednesday, 22 June, the IDB delegation headed by the acting director, Dra\u017een Vrhovac, will have several meetings with representatives of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, business diaspora, and about 40 Austrian businessmen.<\/p>\n
The meetings were organized with the assistance of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Vienna, the IDB announced.<\/p>\n
The statement reads that Austrian investors will be presented investment opportunities, potentials and capital projects of the Republic of Srpska, municipalities and cities, as well as the activities carried out by the IDB to strongly promote the potentials of the Republic of Srpska, aimed at increasing foreign direct investment inflow in the Republic of Srpska, new employment, and strengthening business environment.<\/p>\n
As part of these activities, ten days ago an IDB delegation had a meeting with the Greek Ambassador to BiH, Dimitrios Papandreou, and it was agreed that the IDB would take active part in the Thessaloniki International Fair, on 10-18 September, to present the potentials of Srpska to businessmen and organizations from Greece, and to potential investors from other countries.<\/p>\n
The IDB says that also a visit to Russia is planned for July.<\/p>\n
\u2018The intent guiding us in creating the investment profiles of the Republic of Srpska and our municipalities and cities, was to gather all economic and tourism potentials of the Republic of Srpska in one place and facilitate access to information for interested investors\u2019, announces the IDB.<\/p>\n
The statement reads that the investment profiles to be presented by the IDB at fairs, congresses, conferences, representative offices, embassies and any place holding a chance for good and quality promotion of the Republic of Srpska, will be available also in English, and are planned to be translated into other foreign languages.<\/p>\n
