The traditional event Days of Srpska in Serbia, organized by the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia for the ninth time, has started in Belgrade.<\/p>\n
This year, the event is organized in 11 cities in Serbia.<\/p>\n
There are also two large promotions, of investment potentials of free business zones, and tourist offer of the Republic of Srpska.<\/p>\n
The audience in Serbia will also be presented artistic programs - six theater performances for adults and one for children, five concerts of serious, popular and rock music, and one literary program.<\/p>\n
His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije said at the opening of the event Days of Srpska in Serbia that the creation, existence and progress of the Republic of Srpska was an act of justice, as well as international law and consensus, and that for Christians, justice is what is founded on truth.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Vi\u0161kovi\u0107, noted that Days of Srpska in Serbia was a great and beautiful opportunity to emphasize the unity and togetherness of one people whose kinship, tradition, religion and culture cannot be obliterated by borders.<\/p>\n
- To be here with you today, at the beginning of this magnificent gathering dedicated to the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, our friendship, brotherhood and togetherness, is a great joy and honor for me - Vi\u0161kovi\u0107 said, opening the event.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Serbia, Mla\u0111en Cicovi\u0107, said at the opening of the event that he was convinced that this year\u2019s Days of Srpska in Serbia would send a clear message about the never-more-urgent unity of the Serbian people on both sides of the Drina in preserving freedom, Saint Sava\u2019s Orthodox faith, language and script.<\/p>\n
Cicovi\u0107 emphasized that during the nine years, this event had become a bridge connecting the Serbian people on both sides of the Drina in the most beautiful way.<\/p>\n
- It is a bridge that we make stronger, more robust and more beautiful each year - Cicovi\u0107 noted in his welcome speech as the host.<\/p>\n
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Maja Gojkovi\u0107 said at the opening ceremony of the event that strengthening relations between Serbia and Republic of Srpska was of essential interest to the Serbian people.<\/p>\n
- Global processes and historical developments have often been unfavorable to the closeness of the one and the same people living on both sides of the Drina, so it is necessary to constantly encourage and promote comprehensive cooperation in the field of culture, especially in nurturing remembrance - Gojkovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
