At today\u2019s meeting in Belgrade with representatives of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, it was agreed to pass draft laws on the protection and use of the Serbian language and Cyrillic script by 15 September, thus introducing the same norms in Srpska and Serbia.<\/p>\n
It was agreed that draft laws should be passed by the Day of Unity, in order to organize the curricula for the main subjects, especially history, geography, Serbian language and literature, thus making the content the same in schools in Serbia and Srpska.<\/p>\n
- All great European nations have preserved their identity through language and script; the Germans through Goethe, Schiller, the Brothers Grimm, and we Serbs have many writers in common. We do not harm anyone by guarding our Serbian language, and we keep our name and surname, our future - said Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, the President of Serbia.<\/p>\n
