The President of the Republic of Srpska, \u017del\u0458ka Cvijanovi\u0107, pointed out that the Republic of Srpska needed gathering, unity and a determination to work together on resolving political, economic and financial challenges and frequent political disputes.<\/p>\n
\u2013 We are all aware of various challenges, political, economic, financial, frequent political disputes directed towards the Republic of Srpska and in order to resist all that we need what we see here today, gathering, we need unity, determination to work for the Republic of Srpska, to love and protect it, and try and succeed in moving forward each year \u2013 said Cvijanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
Opening the Gastro Festival in Pelagi\u0107evo, she stated that promotion of the Republic of Srpska was important in every possible way, even by such a gathering.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Each our gathering shows that we know why we do it, that we are people of good will and that we appreciate more than anything being together and gathered around common goals \u2013 said Cvijanovi\u0107 at the opening of the Gastro Encounters event on the lake in Pelagi\u0107evo, which is traditionally held within the St. Elijah\u2019s Day Festivity organized by the municipality.<\/p>\n
In her second visit to this gastro festival, Cvijanovi\u0107 assessed that it had outgrown local significance and that it gathered people from all parts of the Republic of Srpska for socializing, gathering, presenting specialties, promoting their regions, as well as promoting Srpska together.<\/p>\n
\u2013 For a number of years, the Government of the Republic of Srpska and Office of the President of the Republic have been assisting all our municipalities throughout Srpska and we have implemented many important projects in Pelagi\u0107evo, and we are determined to continue that way \u2013 announced Cvijanovi\u0107 and said that a kindergarten would be built soon.<\/p>\n
She expressed satisfaction with the gathering after a difficult year and a half of reduced contacts and work in changed conditions due to the coronavirus.<\/p>\n
\u2013 In that difficult year, Republic of Srpska institutions demonstrated the ability to function, resist challenges and solve them, and our local communities went through the crisis far more easily owing precisely to the intervention of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, which replaced all the missing funds \u2013 Cvijanovi\u0107 pointed out.<\/p>\n
According to her, local authorities should listen carefully to the needs of citizens in each local community, because the entire Republic is being built and strengthened from smallest developments.<\/p>\n
\u2013 With our determination to work and build a better and stronger Republic of Srpska, to gather and come out of every crisis stronger, as we came out stronger from this crisis, we are demonstrating our capacity as the Republic \u2013 said Cvijanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
