A Serbian soldier\u2019s uniform, a Serbian flag, and a water bottle from the First World War have been displayed for the first time in the exhibition space of the Military Museum in Thessaloniki, in the personal exhibition space of retired colonel pharmacist Vasilis Nikoltsios.<\/p>\n
Nikoltsios\u2019s long-standing wish to find this uniform, in order to exhibit it next to other Serbian exhibits in the Military Museum in Thessaloniki, has come true owing to the cooperation of Dra\u0161ko Vi\u0161i\u0107 and Republic of Srpska Representation in Greece.<\/p>\n
Dra\u0161ko Vi\u0161i\u0107, he points out, has emotional connection with this uniform and the Salonica front, because his grandfather Luka Laki\u0107 was one of the Salonica soldiers.<\/p>\n
Nikoltsios thanked the head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Greece, Jelena Jovanovi\u0107, saying that this assistance revealed her ethos and personal struggle to save the memory of the sacrifice of 7,440 Serbs now resting in the Serbian military cemetery Zeitenlik in Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n
